March 7th What I Did In Class Today

OH. MY. GOSH. Voice Typing is exactly what I needed for today, I have a paper due and I have all the info but the not the typing fingers to pump it out in the hour I maybe have to type it. I'm gonna save this for later as to not distract anyone right now, but the Idea is self explanatory.

Lets try a virtual Field Trip -

Whilst exploring the Eiffel Tower, I was simultaneously surprised but also slightly disappointed at the freedom of movement, Its great that we can explore multiple angles but I thought we'd be able to look at any angle we'd want, We have the tech, we've got 360 degree Cameras! Regardless, whilst being there would obviously be better, this is better than a picture, a class would be ENGAGED if a teacher were to use this "game'.

Whilst I was looking around on the website, I looked in the popular tab and found game thingie called Descent Of The Serpent, An Ancient Journey Through Mesoamerica, lets try it!

Holy Moly this is like an actual game, it even has difficulty settings, I've seen enough, this would without question, be an amazing game for a history class, and this was one of 5 games I saw, any kid would be engaged by this, If not by playing then by watching

Checked out the 25 practical ways to use google forms, didn't know google forms had an extension of its own. seemingly built educational use

I inserted a video on a slide, still wish I knew how to make and save GIFS though
